What is Alarm Mate?

A personal safety alarm — compact, keychain-sized, and designed for everyday life. Small enough to forget it's there. Loud enough to make sure no one else does.

How do I activate and silence it?

Pull the pin — the 130dB siren and strobe activate instantly. To silence, reinsert the pin. Your Alarm Mate resets and is ready to go again.

How loud is it?

130dB — as loud as a jet engine, audible up to 200 metres away. It's not a request for help. It's a demand for attention.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 6 months standby on a single charge. When the battery runs low, a red light flickers to let you know it's time to top up. USB-C, same cable as your iPhone.

Who is it for?

Everyone who deserves to feel safe, teenagers, students, mums, travellers, grandmothers. Anyone who moves through the world and wants a little more confidence doing it.

Where should I keep it?

Clipped to your keys, bag strap, belt loop or backpack, wherever it's within easy reach. Discreet until the moment you need it most.

Can I use it more than once?

Absolutely. Reinsert the pin to reset and it's ready again. We recommend a quick charge every few months to keep it ready for anything.

How do I test it?

Find a controlled space away from others, pull the pin to trigger the siren, then reinsert to silence. We recommend keeping distance, 130dB is genuinely very loud.

Is there a warranty?

Every Alarm Mate is backed by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults. Something not right? Reach out to us at hello@alarmmate.com.au and we'll make it right.

When will my order arrive?

We aim to dispatch within 2-3 business days. Australia Post typically delivers within 5-7 business days from there. You'll receive a tracking link so you can follow it to your door.

What's your returns policy?

We want you to love your Mate. If you're not completely satisfied, contact us within 30 days at hello@alarmmate.com.au and we'll take care of you.
